The PFC Joseph C. Filip Memorial Scholarship

Since 2006, we have proudly offered a scholarship in Joe's name to students at Windsor Locks High School. As a family, we wanted to ensure his passion for sports and his dedicated service to our country continue to inspire others. By supporting students who walk the same halls Joe once did, we hoped to empower them as they began their own collegiate journeys. 

 

​​This year, 2026, we have decided to change the recipients of the scholarship. For the first time since the scholarships inception, the awardee's will be Marines from Fox Company, 2nd Battalion, 25th Marine Regiment located in Plainville, Connecticut. Whether in college or in a trade school we wanted to give back to local Marines who continue to serve our country today. See the image for a list of past winners of the PFC Joseph C.
